County pauses decision after competing proposals for Neodesha EMS; interlocal agreement with Labette Health proposed

Brian Williams, identified in the minutes as Labette Health CEO, presented a proposal for EMS services for the City of Neodesha that would be implemented via an interlocal agreement pending approvals. Neodesha City Commissioner Ed Truelove asked the county to give its blessing for the city to proceed with the interlocal agreement with Labette Health. Johnathan Durrett, recorded as FRH CEO in the minutes, outlined an alternative proposal for county-wide EMS service. The minutes list additional local officials and health-system representatives in attendance, including Neodesha City Administrator Brogan Jones and Neodesha Public Safety Director Sam Tomlinson.
