During its Jan. 13 session the Wyoming County Board approved a slate of appointments across committees and county boards. Tess Phillips was appointed Director of Aging and Youth (Management/Management Confidential Grade 9 / Step 1) with an annual salary of $71,000 and an anniversary date of Sept. 26, 2025 (Resolution 26-016). Scott Gardner was reappointed as a private-sector member to the GLOW Workforce Investment Board (Resolution 26-015). Sarah M. Schafer, NP, was reappointed to the Board of Health for a six-year term (Resolution 26-020).
Other appointments recorded include Jerry Davis to the Wyoming County Community Hospital Board of Managers (five-year term through Dec. 31, 2030), Daniel Burling to the Wyoming County IDA Board of Directors to fill an unexpired term (Resolution 26-028), Anthony George to the County Board of Ethics (five-year term), and the reappointment of James Brick as County Purchasing Agent for 2026.
