Vice‑Chair Brandon Davis moved to approve the chairman signing an interagency agreement between Coosa County and the State of Alabama Department of Human Resources; Commissioner John Forbus seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The signed agreement (effective Oct. 1, 2025 through Sept. 30, 2030) sets a 72% pro‑rata share for the agency’s reimbursement of approved lawn‑care costs for the DHR building and requires monthly certified invoices and payment within 15 days of receipt of invoice.
The agreement also includes standard state contract provisions in the minutes: recordkeeping and audit requirements, nondiscrimination provisions, termination contingent on funding, a maximum annual increase cap of 110% year‑to‑year for the agency’s share, and dispute resolution language referencing the Board of Adjustment of the State of Alabama. The county administrator was authorized to have the chairman sign the agreement as recorded in the Feb. 10 minutes.
