County approves $19,422 touchscreen kiosk for Springview wayfinding; annual subscription cost cited

Clark County commissioners on Jan. 7 authorized a contract to buy a TouchSource Telluride 55" indoor touchscreen kiosk for Springview Government Center as part of a multi-site wayfinding project.
The resolution (2026-0005) shows a purchase price of $19,422.88 and a 12-month software subscription included in the effective-date package. County Administrator Jennifer Hutchinson told the board that numerous staff — including the media specialist and Human Resources — would have access to update schedules, department locations and public notices, and that the county plans to evaluate the kiosk before deploying similar units to other locations. Hutchinson estimated ongoing subscription/support costs at approximately $1,800 per year. Commissioner Sasha L. Rittenhouse said she was "excited to see how this works."
