Commissioner Wade Fulford moved to renew the agreement and Commissioner Weston Spivey seconded; the vote was 4‑0. The renewal keeps the county eligible for reimbursement for right‑of‑way tire collections, a revenue stream the county has used to offset solid‑waste handling costs.
