Commissioners discussed sending multiple blade operators to roads north of Esbon and the availability of an existing county vehicle that could be assigned rather than buying a new one.
Elkins also reported a nearly year‑long delay for parts needed to mount a tree‑cutter attachment; Finn Cool had not finished fabricating the mounting pieces. He cautioned that applying calcium chloride for dust control had previously made roads very slick when there was any moisture in the air.
