Wilson County administration handles routine actions; Faye Price sworn in as county treasurer

County Clerk Kayla Busch administered the oath of office to County Treasurer Faye Price; the minutes note that by state statute the county treasurer’s term begins on the second Monday in October. Busch also reported that advanced voting began Oct. 15. The commission approved payroll totaling $125,150.42 and warrants totaling $242,128.26 and received departmental reports from the Appraiser and Register of Deeds and an employee overtime report.
The board adjourned at 10:40 a.m. and scheduled reconvening on Oct. 22, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. The minutes do not record dissent or further conditions attached to these routine approvals.
