County approves two IV-E services contracts for child welfare providers totaling $250,000

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved two contracts on behalf of the Department of Job and Family Services at the Jan. 20 meeting.
Resolution 2026-046 authorized oversight of Contract 2026-04 with Adriel School to provide IV-E services, with the contract amount listed as $150,000 and an effective term of Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2026. Resolution 2026-047 authorized oversight of Contract 2026-05 with Ohio Teaching Family Association for IV-E services in the amount of $100,000 for the same contract term. Both resolutions reference the county department’s authority under Chapter 5153 of the Ohio Revised Code to arrange care and placement services for dependent, neglected and abused children.
The motions were recorded in the meeting minutes and adopted by the board. The approvals provide Fulton County Job and Family Services with contractor options to deliver placement and related services under the IV-E program.
