Morton County commissioners approve minutes, sign warrants and note abated orders

The Morton County Commissioners convened Jan. 26 at 9:00 a.m. in Elkhart. Chairman Jim Tucker, Vice-Chairman Ed Anderson and Commissioner JW Finn recorded attendance (County Attorney David Thompson absent). On a motion by Commissioner JW Finn, seconded by Ed Anderson, the board approved amended minutes from Jan. 12 by unanimous vote.
County Clerk Gina Shores presented the warrant registers and fund totals. The minutes list fund totals including General at $279,464.02 and a reported total of $351,344.92 across funds; the board signed payroll and accounts-payable warrants and noted abated orders numbered 2025-354 and 367–381. No separate roll-call vote beyond the recorded motions was noted in the minutes.
