The Board approved two technology purchases for the district court: four laptops and a courtroom audio upgrade.
District Court Clerk Amy Entriken presented four bids for laptops and two competitive bids for a small courtroom sound system. The board approved purchasing four laptops from Net at Work for $6,720.08. For the courtroom audio, the low bid from Revive IT for $14,066.80 was accepted over McClelland's $25,432.25 bid; the minutes note the difference was largely due to volume control inclusion on the higher bid.
Commissioner Gerhardt made the laptop motion and seconded the sound-system motion; votes on both were recorded as 3-0 in favor. Amy said two older laptops will be retained for courtroom use and that she will research the new vendor as they replace the prior vendor.
