Shomper presented lease-purchase financing bids for a new motor grader (lease amount $275,403.21 over three years). After reviewing bids, the board voted to accept Union State Bank's 3.99% fixed-rate offer. "After reviewing all of the bids, Commissioner Carlson made the motion to accept the bid from Union State Bank of an interest rate of 3.99%," the minutes record.
The board also approved purchase of a 2026 Armor Lite Steel belly-dump trailer from Larry’s Trailer Sales & Service for $40,385, with the old trailer to be listed on Purplewave. Discussion about replacing an outdated 25-year-old hydraulic crimping machine was tabled pending a final cost figure after Lawson's proposed inventory buy-back is applied.
