The Commission voted to pay claims and bi-weekly payroll across multiple funds, approving a total of $122,556.47 in claims. Separately, the Board adopted Resolution 2024-17 transferring $23,500 from the General Fund Contingency to Elections ($1,000), Court Appointed Attorney ($13,000), Jail ($9,000) and Mentally Handicapped ($500) to discharge insufficient 2024 appropriations. Auditor Sherman reported contingency will have a balance of approximately $43,000 after transfers (starting balance $200,000). The Board scheduled a supplemental budget hearing on Dec. 30 at 11:00 a.m. to consider additional appropriations for the Court Appointed Attorney and Jail budgets (proposed $20,000 each).
