Commissioner Dean Koch moved to cancel the September 5 drainage hearing; the motion carried.
County staff and commissioners also discussed broader drainage challenges, noting that roads were engineered 70–80 years ago and were not designed for contemporary drainage demands, providing context for how drainage permits are evaluated.
