The Clark County Board of Commissioners approved a personnel change in ambulance services and recorded equipment issues during the Sept. 3 meeting.
"Motion by Knock, second by Gjerde to move Cassidy Sivertson to Paramedic status and advertise for an Ambulance Administrator," the minutes state; the motion carried with all voting aye. Earlier in the meeting AA Sivertson asked to move an iPad discussion to the Sept. 17 meeting and reported two incidents of ambulance damage; commissioners indicated the county will pay repair costs and that insurance claims will be closed.
No action was taken at this meeting on adding a new EMT. The promotion and recruitment action initiates hiring steps for administrative leadership while the county arranges repairs for the damaged vehicle.
