County Attorney Miss Torsky told the Big Horn County Commissioners on May 21 that the proposed sanitarian services contract arrived the prior day and that county staff had redlined it with edits to the sanitarian's duties, venue and litigation language, and termination procedures. "We received it yesterday," she said, and noted that Heather had reviewed the document and that she also had suggested edits.
The board agreed to return the contract to the contractor for those revisions and to table formal action until the May 28 meeting to allow the contractor time to respond. The Chair noted the item would be placed on the May 28 agenda if the potential sanitarian is willing to accept the county's edits. No formal vote to approve the contract occurred on May 21.
