Lyon County commissioners approve payrolls, warrants and $4,165 facilities maintenance contract

The Lyon County Commission approved routine financial items and a facilities maintenance contract at its Jan. 30 Action Session.
Commissioners voted unanimously to approve warrants payable of $534,131.15, payroll payable of $406,196.62, and payroll withholdings payable of $268,395.88. Each motion was recorded 3-0 in favor, with motions noted as Duft/Bartel or Bartel/Duft in the minutes.
Robbie Weiss of Lyon County Facilities presented a request to authorize Modern Air’s yearly chiller and boiler maintenance agreement for $4,165.00, to be paid from account 010-70-7661-17; the board approved the contract 3-0 (Bartel/Duft). The action was recorded as an approved routine facilities expense.
The board also noted appointments are forthcoming for Planning and Zoning and the MUPP Board, and reviewed personnel changes without taking further action. The next Action Session is scheduled for Feb. 6, 2025, at 9:00 a.m.
