Chief Robbie Stone reported that an engine at the Antioch Fire Station has a failed truck computer; the board was given a quote from Rush in the amount of $5,000 to replace the computer. Stone also said the county’s ISO review will be under way and noted that acquiring a ladder truck could be a way to increase the county’s ISO score; the board agreed to discuss that topic at a future meeting.
The minutes do not specify funding sources for the repair or whether the ladder truck idea has an identified funding plan.
