Anna Flogstad and Angie McCormick told commissioners that Schneider Geospatial had been paid $17,028 in March 2024 for GeoPermits setup, hosting and implementation but that county staff were unaware of testing or implementation plans. Staff said they preferred to remain with IWORQ Systems, which they know and which meets their needs.
The Board agreed to put GeoPermits on hold, discuss the highway department's permit process with Highway Superintendent Raap, and approved payment of a $3,000 IWORQ invoice. Auditor Sherman said she will contact both vendors to resolve outstanding questions.
