The commission voted to declare several highway assets surplus and directed they be sold at Wieman Auction on Dec. 3. Surplus items include fixed asset #773A (140H Caterpillar motorgrader), #711 Balderson snow wing, #947 2004 Sterling LT7500 truck, and #948 Crysteel dump body.
Separately, Brice Paulson of Butler Machinery presented a Lease with Option to Purchase Agreement #40005778 for a 2024 Caterpillar 150‑15A WD motor grader; the Board authorized Chairman Liesinger to sign the finance agreement. Highway Superintendent Travis Raap also reported a new hire (John Bryant) and requested promotion of Dillon Warren to Operations Foreman—both personnel moves were approved.
