Clark County to apply next August for County Road 50 bridge repair in Five-Year plan

Chairman Chris Sass opened the public hearing for Clark County’s Five-Year Road and Bridge Plan; no members of the public appeared. HS Eggleston reported the county will apply in August 2025 for repair funding for a bridge on County Road #50 and told commissioners the plan will be formally approved at the Oct. 1, 2024 meeting.
Eggleston also provided an update on ongoing work, including road maintenance on County Road 17, and described the schedule that ties the five-year plan to next year’s grant application cycle. The board recorded the hearing as closed with no public testimony and directed that the five-year plan be returned for action at the Oct. 1 meeting.
