Borthwick said she obtained quotes from Home Depot and Ulysses Building Supply and that Ulysses Building Supply offered the lower price; she asked Building Maintenance Supervisor David Manzano to install replacement doors and also requested LED lighting, south‑side cameras, a new stove and new flooring. The board reviewed the quotes and later approved a separate small purchase (three plate glass desktops) at $793.75 from Ulysses Building Supply for county use.
