Ellis County Clerk Bobby Dreiling brought a procurement correction to the commission on Jan. 6, saying two December purchase orders for the Noxious Weed division had been issued with incorrect payee names.
Dreiling said the contracts called for payment to Deere & Company and Alamo Group Mowing Solutions, but the purchase orders had been created with alternative vendor names. She told commissioners the county auditor advised that no dollar amounts changed and that the clerks’ office would correct the payee names on the purchase orders to match contract terms.
The commission acknowledged the correction; no fiscal impact was reported.
