Commissioners received several informational reports. Public works staff (Jess) reported on the road and bridge report and recent construction activity, describing a large project with numerous trucks and crews; Jess said crews worked daily except one Saturday and that the County Road 11 project would finish later in the week. Commissioners also discussed a township decision to turn back County Road 50 (Waddamango) to gravel and noted local resident frustration.
In housing committee business, commissioners said Jefferson School in Red Wing was rezoned and an RFP has been released; one potential respondent is 3 Rivers, with staff and commissioners noting preferences in the RFP to retain park or green space and to give priority to proposals that maintain the building for possible senior housing.
