At its Jan. 20, 2026 session, the Morgan County Board of Commissioners voted to award the 2026 Road Resurfacing Project to Pittman Construction for $3,570,621.82. The project was advertised via RFP on Dec. 3, 2025 and covers approximately 19.5 centerline miles of roadway.
County staff reported that two bids were received at the Jan. 14, 2026 public bid opening, with Pittman Construction submitting the low bid of $3,570,621.82. Commissioner Ben Riden moved to award the project; Commissioner Nathan Park seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. The Board did not record additional conditions or vote breakdown beyond the unanimous approval in the minutes.
