The Board of Supervisors for Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 1 of the Parish of Bossier adopted an amended resolution Feb. 18, 2026, revising the district's water and sewer rates to apply to all establishments and taking effect immediately. The resolution records residential water at "$31.00 for the first 2000 gallons + $0.005 for each additional gallon" and a residential sewer flat rate of "$54.00"; it also sets commercial, large commercial and industrial tiers and specifies that "Water and Sewer Rates inside city limits will be at a rate of 1' 5 times the above established rates."
The action was proposed in a public hearing announced by Parish Secretary Ashley B. Ezell and moved for adoption by Mr. Keith Sutton and seconded by Ms. Pam Glorioso; the board recorded a unanimous vote (12 Yes, 0 No, 0 Abstain). The resolution states it "shall become effective immediately," and the board ordered the new schedule to be kept on file in the district secretary's office. The amendment references and updates a prior resolution adopted Dec. 21, 2022, to include explicit water-rate tiers for residential, mobile home park/apartment complex, small commercial, large commercial, and industrial customers.
