Sheriff cited unpermitted truck on Earl Jordan Road, Road Superintendent reports

Road Superintendent Perry Holmes reported the Sheriff’s Office issued a ticket to a trucker on Earl Jordan Road without a permit; the truck, owned by David Greer, was left for Mr. Greer to retrieve and the driver had a suspended license.
Road Superintendent Perry Holmes told the Winn Parish Road Committee that the Sheriff’s Office issued a citation to a trucker working on Earl Jordan Road who lacked a permit and whose driver’s license was suspended.
Holmes said the vehicle was identified as a truck owned by David Greer and that "the Sheriff’s office allowed Mr. Greer to come pick up the truck but the driver had to have someone else pick him up." Holmes also said the truck’s license plate was suspended. No further enforcement action or fines were recorded by the Committee at the Aug. 16 meeting.
Holmes noted he will provide a forestry update at the Jury’s Monday evening meeting.
