Tax Appraiser Julie McCart briefed the board that an estimated 1,218 Personal Property returns were mailed for the current cycle. She reported that Freeport, boat and aircraft returns, and business personal property returns were mailed on Jan. 8, 2026, and noted that personal property valued under $20,000 is non‑taxable.
Chief Appraiser Robert Bailey presented three Personal Property ACOs (accounts #19928, #20070, #19428) for the chairman’s signature and reminded the board that Prebill Mobile Home Notices were mailed Jan. 8, 2026; the 45‑day appeal period for PBMH ends Feb. 23, 2026.
