Wasendorf elected chair as Morgan County Board of Assessors names 2026 officers

The Morgan County Board of Assessors unanimously elected its 2026 officers at the board’s Jan. 29 meeting. Mrs. Nicole Wasendorf was elected chair after a motion by Mr. Bill Malone and a second from Mr. Jay Moon.
Mr. Chris Sides was elected vice chairman following a motion by Mr. Malone and a second by Mrs. Wasendorf; Mrs. Heather Gardner was elected board secretary on a motion from Mr. Moon and a second from Mr. Malone. All votes on the reorganizational motions were recorded as unanimous. The actions were taken at the start of the board’s monthly meeting, which Chair Wasendorf called to order at 10:08 a.m.
