Froebel project gets extra $100,000; contract work advances at 920 Washington Ave

At the June 16 meeting staff reported progress on Blight Elimination Round 4 projects. The Froebel School project at 417 Jackson Ave is advancing on roof and drain work and the project was awarded an additional $100,000 under the program. Executive Committee minutes also show a prior approval for the first draw on 417 Jackson.
For 920 Washington Ave (Shaw Walker), staff reported that a contract was signed with J Stevens to address roofing systems on three buildings and a separate contract was signed with RAM Concrete for concrete repair and restoration. The minutes list the contracts as executed and say both projects are progressing well.
Board members were informed of the additional award and ongoing contractor activity; staff will continue oversight and report back on completion and reimbursement status.
