Pottawatomie County plans major overhaul of outdoor warning sirens

The update is intended to provide redundancy in alerts and improve reliability during emergencies.
Merrow also announced a radar interpretation class for county first responders on Feb. 11 in Westmoreland. The committee recorded no formal vote on the overhaul during the Jan. 21 meeting; Merrow invited members to join a training notification email list for future briefings and implementation updates.
