County website revamp planned; IT flags ADA compliance deadline and schedules vendor demos

Murph told the committee that Economic Development supports a county website revamp and recommended heavy involvement from Becky Holme. Danny Gardner told the committee the county website must be ADA compliant by 2027 and that the county can hire a hosting company to help meet that requirement; Roy Haeger noted that Hurley School pays an estimated $4,000 for similar services.
Gardner said he has demos scheduled with CIVIC Plus and Municode (a demo noted for Feb. 25 at 11:00 AM and a CivicPlus demo later rescheduled for March 4). Roxanne Lutgen asked to reschedule the Feb. 25 demo because she will be in Madison; Roy Haeger, Joe Miller and Becky Holme were listed to attend the original demo time. The committee discussed digitizing the county ordinance book and potential funding sources such as ARPA or grants; Joe Miller will investigate options.
