Council notes $800,000 state grant and seeks $4 million in congressional spending for EMS project

Kevin Flanagan, of Keller, urged caution about progressing to full plans until funding is reliable: "If you're not sure of the funding, you don't know if ... it doesn't make sense to spend all those sorts of money on a set of plans that may or may not be built," he said. The council discussed using AIA-standard documents and examples from other municipalities and federal oversight (USDA referenced) when applying for and administering larger grants.
