Child Support and Health Department security projects to expand local control and add cameras

Danny Gardner said the Child Support security buildout will leverage the courthouse system. He reported that work to update the courthouse's Ubiquiti networking infrastructure and bring it under local control has been completed, clearing the way for additional piggybacked buildouts.
Gardner also said a security buildout for the Health Department, including key fobs and cameras, is planned. Department heads recommended adding key-fob access for the County Car Garage, a project expected to take place this summer. No firm procurement or funding timeline was announced during the meeting.
