County Administrator Bryan Rogers told the board that Jerry Sikes, the airport maintenance fixed-base operator (FBO), was experiencing large insurance increases and requested a renegotiated contract. Under the current arrangement he is paid $2,400 per month and keeps half of call-out fees; he proposed $3,400 per month with the county retaining all call-out fees.
Commissioner Gerad Mathis moved to approve the Sikes Aviation contract as presented; Commissioner Kevin Tanner seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes do not record additional contract language or the effective date of the change.
