Committee to revisit EMU boundaries after questions about Westbank coverage and new concerns such as carbon capture

"We absolutely can have one — that's the, so kinda doubling down," Laday said, noting the process includes packet materials, imagery and the local coastal program text for line-by-line review.
Committee members also asked whether carbon-capture and storage (CCS) projects had been incorporated into EMU objectives; Laday said CCS concepts are newer and were not included in the original EMU language but staff can review and add verbiage if committee members believe it should be addressed. Laday offered to include the full EMU set in the next packet so members can prepare specific markups ahead of a future vote.
