"We wanted to be able to start right away with the configuration… I told them it would be after July 1 when we do the purchase order… but they said it shouldn't take but 2 to 3 weeks," staff (speaker 8) said. A motion to approve the purchase was made and carried. Finance staff noted that if the purchase came from the general fund a small adjustment might be required to cover equipment costs, while capital funds were identified as the preferred source.
Staff will coordinate procurement, issue a purchase order after July 1 and schedule vendor configuration and staff training following installation.
