The Board of Supervisors for Consolidated Waterworks/Sewerage District No. 2 unanimously ratified Change Order No. 1 for Project No. 2025-124, West Central Water System, New Water Well #8. The motion to ratify was made by Chairman Heath Lyles and seconded by Holly Fisk; the board called for public comment and none was offered.
The agenda notes and a Police Jury resolution adopted Feb. 4, 2026, state that Change Order No. 1 results in an increase of $2,217 to the total contract cost and "provides for adjustments to well casing and pump sizes due to high rate of gallons per minute produced by the well." The resolution authorizes the Parish Administrator and/or Parish President to execute any and all documents related to the change order. The board recorded the motion as carried unanimously. The action was identified as relating to Police Jury District 4 and the West Central Water System project.
