Project engineer Chris Korkowski told the Board the Valley Street Project design is 95% complete and that 63% of the total project budget has been invoiced. Korkowski said plans were submitted to the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT), which requested removal of rock from the right-of-way; as a result, plans are being revised and will not be submitted for cost share until the revisions are finished.
Korkowski and Attorney Bryan Van Grinsven said they are finalizing a temporary easement agreement with Michael Baker. The Board noted the project's potential DWR cost share could range from 0 to 25 percent based on a benefit-cost analysis; plans and specifications are expected by the end of February.
