The St. James Parish Planning Commission approved a variance to allow a 36-by-30-foot metal building at 3439 S. Angelle Street in Paulina.
The application from Timothy Brack noted that an existing garage sits 45 feet from the back property line; that configuration would leave 6 feet from the back property line and 9 feet between the existing garage and the proposed building under the requested layout. Commissioner Danny St. Pierre moved to approve the variance, and Commissioner Todd Bland seconded the motion. The approval was conditioned on the applicant providing an updated site plan and written consent from the back property owner before final permitting.
The vote recorded the standard roll call used at the meeting and carried with members present voting in favor. The commission did not record any public opposition to the variance at this session.
