Miami County EMS awarded $233,285 Patterson Family Foundation grant for cardiac monitors

Brandon Rehm, Miami County EMS deputy chief, informed the commission that on June 19 Miami County EMS was awarded a Patterson Family Foundation grant of $233,285 to purchase five replacement cardiac monitors. "Miami County EMS was awarded the Patterson Family Foundation grant in the amount of $233,285 for a monitor replacement, 5 cardiac monitors, project," he said.
Rehm said funding should be made available within the next month and that Stryker estimates roughly one month from order to delivery. Commissioners thanked Rehm and other staff for pursuing the grant and noted the equipment will assist emergency responders' capabilities.
