Council reschedules February meeting; recognizes local presenters

At its Jan. 6 meeting the St. Bernard Parish Council adopted Resolution SBPC #2604-01-26 to change the Feb. 19, 2026 council meeting to Feb. 23, 2026.
The amendment to add the item was moved by Ryan Randall and seconded by Amanda Mones; the resolution was adopted on a recorded vote with YEAS from Councilmembers Cusimano, Moran, Meyer, Randall and Mones and the Chair casting his vote as YEA. Earlier in the meeting the council recognized Matt Woodward with the Four Pillars organization to discuss 'For His Glory' and amended the agenda to recognize Claude Maher with the St. Bernard Parish Home Mortgage Authority. The public recognition list included Tommy Delaune of Chalmette and the Chair waived the rules to recognize former Councilmember Howard Luna to speak.
