Supervisor Wasserman told the council that the broader county budget process could reduce the available funding for CAMPAC and urged the group to set priorities and a fallback plan. He told the committee his conversations with finance chair and other supervisors suggested "they could take off $50,000 or so," and he recommended the council rank essential groups in case of cuts.

Supervisor O'Connor urged members to track county budget agendas and to engage supervisors and the public to protect the funding in the broader process.
