Council rejects conditional-use request for car wash on Hwy. 46 parcel

Councilmember Cindi Meyer moved the ordinance, seconded by Ryan Randall, but the vote failed: YEAS — none; NAYS — Cusimano, Moran, Meyer, Randall, Mones; the Council Chair, Fred Everhardt, Jr., cast his vote as NAY. The Planning Commission had recommended approval on Dec. 9, 2025; a public hearing record is on file at the Clerk of Council.
The council did not adopt any conditions or amendments related to the application at the meeting. Because the motion failed, no conditional-use permit was granted.
