The Bossier Parish Police Jury adopted Ordinance No. 5099 to amend Ordinance No. 5087 and correct clerical errors in the acreage amount for a tract reclassified from R-A (Residential Agricultural) to I-2 (Heavy Industrial). Parish Attorney Patrick Jackson explained that Ordinance No. 5087 "listed as approximately 1,079.22 acres, but is actually 1,089.00 acres, more or less." The correction was offered by Glenn Benton and seconded by Keith Sutton and adopted unanimously.
Ordinance No. 5099 restates the legal description for the tract (sections and quarter-sections across Township 20 North, Range 13 West and Township 21 North, Range 13 West) and cites Benton MPC Case No. BP-21-25; the applicant is listed as TXLAAR, LLC. The ordinance clarifies the total acreage as 1,089.00 acres and confirms the zoning reclassification for the proposed industrial park.
