Police Jury approves $62,000 supplement for parish GIS data work

Parish Engineer Eric Hudson said Supplemental Agreement No. 2 is a continuation of ongoing work to add parish assets into the GIS system and to integrate video assessments of parish roads performed by Fugro USA Land, Inc. He said the increase "allows the parish to continue these projects to better evaluate the lifespan of roads and plan accordingly." The jury approved the agreement unanimously (motion by Doug Rimmer; seconded by Pam Glorioso).
The resolution authorizes the Parish Administrator or Parish President to execute documents related to the Supplemental Agreement, which results in an increase of $62,000 to the total contract cost. Parish staff said sewer and road assets are being added as systems are accepted into parish maintenance.
