Police Jury accepts streets and drainage in The Parc Subdivision, Unit No. 1

Assistant Parish Engineer Matt Redmon told the jury that since the February 18 meeting the developer for The Parc Subdivision, Unit No. 1 contracted with American Electric Power (SWEPCO) for streetlights and that "the streets and drainage punch list has been completed with bonds submitted." Based on those items and inspections, the jury voted to accept the streets and drainage into the parish road system for permanent maintenance (motion by Philip Rodgers; seconded by Julian Darby).
Ordinance No. 5096 was offered and adopted to formally accept the two-year maintenance bond and place Shenandoah Boulevard (0.18 miles), Denali Drive (0.16 miles), Pinnacles Place (0.09 miles) and Sequoia Street (0.21 miles) into the parish maintenance system. The ordinance requires recording a certified copy in the Office of the Clerk of Court along with the maintenance bond.
