Owner of Louisiana Rouxgaroux introduces new general manager, invites community to season opener

Carter described practice locations including D1 Training, indoor facilities at Brookshire Grocery Arena, and local school turf access at 3:16 Field House, Cypress Baptist Church, Calvary Baptist Academy and Evangel Christian Academy as weather permits. “The team name, the Louisiana Rouxgaroux, is derived from Louisiana lore and ... the team is the only arena football team in the state of Louisiana,” Carter said. Jurors thanked Carter and accepted the presentation with no formal action required.
