County receives water and wastewater project update, reservoir designs submitted for review

Reservoir erosion and sediment control plans were submitted to the county for review and the team plans to submit design drawings to the Department of Conservation and Restoration (DCR) and the health department soon. The water‑treatment plant design has been revised from 3 million gallons per day to 2 million gallons per day and staff are pursuing value engineering.

The firm also reported that final plans for a wastewater improvement (Stammeringale) were submitted to DEQ and that a site plan had been filed with the county for advertising.
