A board member moved to approve the resolution; a second was recorded and the board voted in favor by voice vote. Dr. Whitmarsh invited public comment on the resolution and there were no public speakers on the item.
The board will present the written resolutions at the retirement breakfast and will also include the text in the minutes of the May 13 meeting.
