The commission recorded that Chief Judge Daniel Creitz of the 31st Judicial District appointed Sheryl Bussell to serve as temporary County Attorney until a successor is selected by the Neosho County Republican District Convention and appointed by the governor; that appointing process was noted to take place on February 12, 2026.
